We will explore Tree Injection Best Management Practices as compiled by co-authors Dr. Smiley and Shawn Bernick within the ISA’s BMP booklet. Developing a consistent training program of where to properly inject trees and approaching this science as a toolbox approach. Learn the latest in trunk injection processes and minimize wounding with the latest in open-system, trunk injection tools.
10 am – 11 am: Field demo on ash trees
Hands on demonstration with plug-less, low pressure tool for successful tree injection. Learn how, and where to inject a tree properly while minimizing the wounding (aside from drilling to access the Xylem). Questions and answers around all the variables required for successful tree injection.
