The Q-Connect Port Expansion is an additional tee (with tubing) to add to your current Q-connect harness to accommodate large diameter trees. Simply pull the tube out of one of the black connectors on your current harness, and insert the tube on this port expansion to increase the diameter of your harness. We recommend placing tees every 2" around the trunk of the tree, and with our Standard Q-connect kit you are able to treat up to a 20" DBH tree with the 10 tees provided. If you need to increase the number of tees to accommodate a 24" DBH tree, you would need to add on two of these Q-connect port expansions to total 12 tees on your harness.
